Final Boom Assembly and Bridge Construction Over Yellowstone River | Part 3 | Crane Crew USA

Niemela Productions took on an exciting project to document the intricate process of constructing a bridge over the Yellowstone River in Montana. Tasked by Crane Crew USA, a prominent voice in the crane industry, Luke embarked on a solo journey to capture the pivotal role of the Manitowoc MLC300 crane in this ambitious build. Over five days, he meticulously filmed the crane's setup, operation alongside ironworkers, and coordination with crane operators, capturing over 6TB of footage using 2 Sony cameras, 5 Go Pros, and a drone.

The challenge lay in weaving these extensive recordings into a cohesive story that immersed viewers in the construction site's action. After countless hours of editing, Luke produced three long-form videos that brought the audience directly into the heart of the project. In addition to creating these in-depth videos, Niemela Productions managed the distribution and promotion through Crane Crew USA’s social media platforms.

The results were impressive. Despite Crane Crew USA's relatively new YouTube channel, the videos quickly amassed over 325,000 views, skyrocketing the subscriber count from 50 to over 5,600. Social media highlights also reached over 100,000 views, cementing the project's success and broadening the client's digital reach.
